Classy, old-school London hotel in...

Liked: Location is amazing - heart of Mayfair.
Disliked: Room is very small, but comfortable. Bathroom is dated with small shower, but nice enough. Room was super-quiet but it helped that it faced away from the street.

A real gem in London!

Liked: Everything! This hotel is a real darling, full of charm and hospitality. The staff were fantastic, especially the very helpful doorman! Lovely, generous breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

Great Location with Excellent Staff

Liked: This location is perfect for getting to the tube or other sites around Westminster. The area felt very safe despite and was extremely upscale. Restaurants in the area were plenty and ranged in price from a very spendy tasting menu at an upscale sushi/fish restaurant to affordable fish and chips. Very walkable to Bond Street, Selfridges, and other shopping. The staff went above and beyond at every step.
Disliked: The bed in our room was not the most comfortable and despite it being an upgraded room, only had a queen bed vs. the standard room having a king sized bed.

Liked: Rooms were nice, it's an older hotel, located close to main Hyde park, easy access to take the tube to any well known attractions. The staff was wonderf.
Disliked: they were doing some repairs on the building and we had no view

Pleasant

Liked: Locality was good once I got accustomed to the area.
Disliked: Construction noise. Scaffolding over the frontage was an unexpected disappointment. I would have booked elsewhere had I known.
