The Chambers Hotel

I’ve never stayed here before but it was near the concert venue I was going to. All of the 60 rooms have only one queen bed, so I requested a rollaway bed for my friend who was joining me. There was a key glitch that wouldn’t open that door, although the master key card would. Eventually we settled on being accompanied to our room when we returned from the concert. Not a problem, front desk were so helpful. The hotel is nicely decorated and at one time had an art gallery connected to it. A word of warning, when you go to check in from the street entrance, you’ll have to ring and will be let in quickly; it’s for security because vagrants would otherwise wander in. That’s how urban areas can be. I will stay there again.

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The room looked really nice.

Liked: No microwave but clean.
Disliked: After our car was broken into, police told us this area is a hotbed for illegal activity. People were screaming outside the entire night.

Excellent, especially for the price!

Liked: I was nervous about what the quality would be like because the price was so reasonable, but it was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable! The only thing I would change is make the elevator keyed entry so no one else could get upstairs without supervision. It wasn't a problem, but it would make me feel safer, given the location. The desk staff were exceptional, and very friendly and helpful!

Disliked: Breakfast was plastic wrapped and a bit gross.
