Superb

Great value for money, friendly...

Liked: Super comfy room and amazing breakfast, staff is super friendly and helpful. Pool and spa are great and well maintained, it was a nice treat after a long day hiking around. Location is great, many walks to do around and just 10min drive from Keswick, we are definitely coming back.
Disliked: Hotel is being refurbished so decor that seems a little bit outdated will be probably changed, looking forward to seeing it renovated.

Liked: It is big and refurbishment to going on. Our room had been refurbished and was very nice
Disliked: Breakfast took1.5 hours to deliver. Appalling service on one morning. New kitchen and new chef.

Big spacious room, comfy beds...

Liked: Pool although facilities in state of renovation
Disliked: Food Evening meal was bad, loaded nachos is not tortilla chips with microwave melted cheese and no sauce. Just very dry. My children couldn't eat the sausages as they were not very nice. Could be so much better. Was let down by the food so would not stay again

A place that deserves a...

Liked: The price was ok and the position good.
Disliked: The place was partially in renovation. The structure it’s quite wear off and needs a massive intervention especially in the SPA area. The rooms are well priced considering the position.

Liked: Enjoyed the stay. Pool and Jacuzzi were really nice.
Disliked: Only complaint is the cleanliness of the pool changing rooms.

Liked: The pool is decent size although the side of the pool wasn't clean and the jacuzzi was pleasant.
Disliked: The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The sauna has not been cleaned after closure at 8pm nor before opening in the morning. The receptionist was not to be found for at least 10 minutes. When checking with the waiter he said he doesn't know where she was but he said she keeps disappearing. The breakfast wasn't too bad but I definitely had better before.
