Liked: Great location on Neath high street.Pleasant staff.Good facilities in room for price - tea, coffee, kettle etc
Disliked: The rooms are quite dated / tired. The lighting in the room was poor.Car park is very small and parking is not guaranteed. When we signed our car in at reception, there was only 1 other car registered within the last 48 hours - despite the car park being full. Don’t believe this is monitored.

Good staff,but need to make...

Liked: Travelled to the location to attend a fuction,room was large and spacious,however was cold!!! a plug in radiator was provided,although I asked for a accessible room was given a room on the second floor,£65.00 direct via hotel yet paid £85.00 with booking.com a lift was prescent,however our room was rite at the back of the hotel what seemed like a maze and a lot of steps up and down different levels to evenetially be able to get to it,Asked to change rooms as it was not disabled accessible and told no other rooms available so was given late checkout as a gesture of good will,but still booked the room 10/11 weeks prior,but feel request was not read although received acknowledgement
Disliked: Non accessible room as requested when booked 10/11 weeks prior to our stay

Disappointing compared with my many...

Liked: On my first evening there the heating is my room did not work and the weather was so cold that it made for an uncomfortable night. The breakfast which in the past had been a well cooked full breakfast had changed to a buffet type which was a disappointment. The bedroom heating breaking down was something that can happen, and the staff kindly provided me with an electric heater for my second day which made the room more comfortable. But they should change the advertising about the breakfast. I was expecting the usual excellent breakfast served in the past, The breakfast of ham and cheese slices was a big disappointment. It is my honest opinion that the hotel has lost some appeal to me.
Disliked: Hotel maintenance, and the loss of a very well cooked breakfast

Liked: We stayed there for convenience of location and probably the best available in the centre of town but sadly lacking a bit in all ways eg cleanliness, staff not particularly interested. In centre of town so expected some street noise but blinds didn’t shut out light properly. Continental breakfast was cereal or toast! Would have been better not to offer breakfast so we would have gone elsewhere
