Hotel was beautiful, staff friendly...

Liked: Town centre location, 5min walk to train station. Shops/bars and restaurant on the doorstep
Disliked: Room door hard to close and bang when shut. Bathroom didn’t open fully as sink in way. No cooked breakfast

Liked: The room was lovely. The bathroom was great. The bed was super comfy. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was up to standard. Perfect stay for the night

Good location, good value for...

Liked: Good value for money includng a continental breakfast, the room had air con as well which was very good as it was quite hot
Disliked: All round everything was very good about the hotel the receptionist was very helpful, the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good value for money, with very good food

Liked: Staff were lovely. Continental breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Room 9 on floor one needs an upgrade. Contemporary carpet doesn’t match the hotel’s style. Curtains need dry cleaning, they’re very nice and very good quality but not clean. Bedside cabinets need to go in the skip and replaced. Decorative tiles in bathroom are cracked and need replacing. Didn’t affect my stay. I enjoyed it and will come again soon. Staff are excellent. Had great advice from the receptionist working Wednesday evening 27th august. Lovely to be able to converse in Welsh with the lady on bar duty Wednesday afternoon 27th august. Can’t praise most staff enough.

Good

Liked: Welcoming reception, staff very pleasant and informative. Room was clean and tidy.Plenty of hot water soap shower gel and shampoo provided. Tea and coffee provided in room.Would stop again on my next visit to Neath
Disliked: Not a fan of continental style breakfast.Gluten free cereals and bread provided. Fruit, cheese and Ham with some pastries.Over all it was good.

Brilliant

Liked: Perfect place about 25 mins from rest bay which we love. Parking available all time and staff very nice and helpful. Lovely continental breakfast. Clean rooms
Disliked: Pigeons but at night they slept , we had twin beds Very small for us but only problem.

Good hotel with good location...

Liked: Breakfast consisted of quite a variety of continental choices. I liked that there was different options for bread or yoghurt. The room we stayed in was very spacious, hotel itself presented well and had a positive vibe.
Disliked: There were strange noises coming from the walls and ceiling at night… a little bit noisy but other than that all was fine
