Liked: all the home comforts, iron and board, hair drier, fan, bed was clean and very comfortable
Disliked: although clean the hotel was very tired

Liked: The room was dated and worn. No AC, and the fan provided was very noisy and had little effect. Friendly staff for sure, food was expensive for what it was.
Disliked: No AC and the prices of food

Lovely characterful property and great...

Liked: Comfortable rooms, very characterful property, and lovely location. Great staff, food and service all round.
Disliked: Some areas were abit tired but it was an older property which I love. Windows didn't shut properly and windows were blown but it was hot so didn't need to shut them. A fridge in the room would have been great. Overall very happy and would stay again.

Very poor

Liked: I was expecting Breakfast will be taken as an order and cooked later but it was buffet with not many items available and had to wait for poach egg 15mins.

Handy if you’re going to...

Liked: The location was handy as we was going to Ascot and it’s one of the only places available and close enough for a taxi journey
Disliked: From the outside the property was lovely looking but the internals are very tired and worn out. The building has zero air-conditioning so in the heat that we’ve had the rooms were like ovens

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Family room was spacious and the outdoor area was nice to sit out in and have a drink
Disliked: The water pressure was very poor in the room so the shower wasn't very good and the taps didn't run very well.
