The festival was great, but will definitely book another hotel next year.
Liked: The spa.
Disliked: Communication with the front desk was non existent; told there are no additional pillows , because the hotel was full. Our room was only serviced once over the weekend. Very poor service.

Nice stay, able to enjoy...
Liked: breakfast - choice very good. Sometimes slow service due to lack of staff. During the week one person was on checking in, filling up items, clearing tables and helping guests. Not easy. Weekend was better with more staff But all staff in restaurant were very helpful and polite and worked very hard. Very clean areas. Car parking plentiful and easy to register. Near to local facilities and lots to do nearby. Handy that the bus comes to the hotel to go into Cambridge. Saves parking and messing around. Had a big event there and the daytime meeting was well organised and went well. Evening meal and party was excellent. Beef was perfectly cooked. and all had a good time. Would go to another event there.
Disliked: Spa - Not really a relaxing experience. Had a massage along with my Mum and both rooms felt like they had a/c blowing out at high speed. Making it cold. Spoke to therapist who said was vert and not a/c and tried to change temp up but whilst was mainly ok during treatment it was not nice getting dressed under it and did not end it well. All staff were polite and friendly. The room wasn't serviced daily and we had to ask for basic things like toilet roll and bin emptying. Rooms got quite hot even with window open and this was not really great weather, Quite expensive prices for food and drink. Preferable to go to local pub.

Pleasant stay - very good...
Liked: Good honest pub style food for dinner. Very friendly staff in restaurant. Breakfast was also good. Ideal with young children.
Disliked: Check in accepted for 2.00pm turned out to be 3.30pm for junior suite. It would have been a problem if we did not have a second room. A bit of black mould on shower sealant in room 203. Hotel surroundings quite built up and Cambourne full of characterless new built houses. Quite ugly in an attractive region!Ordinary rooms quite expensive but similar to Premier Inn!

Couple of good points but...
Liked: Easy check in Clean room
Disliked: Unfortunately bar staff and dinner waiting staff were poor. Had dinner on the Thursday night and was told the pre order that we had made hadn’t been put through so we ordered again but after dinner we waited for an hour for the table to be cleared even after asking. After that we sat drinking and as was around midnight were told that the bar was closed but if we wanted any drinks could order them to the room. We did call to order drinks to the room to be told the system was down! We were staying another night so could have easily been written down and added when fixed. On the Saturday after the wedding event the wedding party had asked for an area for wedding guests to be reserved for breakfast and yet nothing had been arranged even after several emails asking for this. The breakfast manager just seemed to shrug his shoulders.

Nice hotel, great staff -...
Liked: Room was really well equipped, Bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and with both a bath and shower. Breakfast buffet was nice but not exceptional. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.All the staff I came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. Very special shout out for the really exceptional member of housekeeping staff who took me back to the room and helped me look for my sunglasses after I checked out.
Disliked: Rooms are starting to look a bit tired. The safe in the room didn't work and when I mentioned it at checkout the response was 'yes some of them aren't functioning' - as if that was just an acceptable status.
