It’s a decent hotel for...

Liked: The location was right next to the tube, it was so handy. Staff were nice.
Disliked: Travelling as a group of 4 and one of the beds in the room weren’t made. The room had 3 beds. It took an hour, maybe more for someone to come make it, disturbing our midday nap as we were travelling all morning. And when the lady came to make it, she had no clue. The mattress didn’t even fit the frame. She had to keep going and coming back with all the sheets/pillows, we couldn’t relax. Travelling as a group of 4 in a room in the basement with no AC and they only gave us 1 fan, not 2. The fan was not even provided, we had to go up and ask for it. The TV remote was not provided and we had to go and ask. There was not enough toilet roll in the room, we had to go and ask. We were constantly going up to reception asking for things that should have been there in the first place! Whoever cleaned the room before we arrived was very obviously in a rush.

Good location but let down...

Liked: Location and friendly welcome
Disliked: No air conditioning and rooms far too hot. Carpets worn out and dangerous on the stairs

Convenient for train

Liked: Quirky hotel ideally located for St Pancras Eurostar
Disliked: Breakfast is at a sister hotel,cooked to order and fine but not ideal if in a hurry with a train to catch. Very strange bed, 3 foot off the ground, shower not good, room very small.
