Located less than a minute's walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras Railway Station The California is located in central London. This charming and modern hotel offers a 24-hour reception. The 60 stylish rooms are spread over 4 floors in the Georgian townhouses which feature original staircases halls and windows. as expected nice quant hotel...

Liked: it was as advertisedthey arranged a take away breakfast for me and a coffee! ask had to leave very early in the morning

Liked: No ice in the hotel at all. A man opened the door to our room in the middle of the night. Main desk guest clerk on Saturday morning was reluctant to answer my question about the uber, did not smile & actd like I was a nuisance to her. Would NOT stay there again

Liked: Staff all pleasant, location fab for one night before Eurostar.
Disliked: Room very hot, fan supplied but still too hot. Could be cleaner found a sock under the bed from previous guest.

RIP off hotel which is...

Liked: Staff were pleasant
Disliked: Pokey room that was extremely small. Not worth £150. Total rip off No lift. Hotel is death trap in event of fire.

Second stay at this hotel....

Liked: Lovely surroundings, close to the tube to access everything. So relaxed inside too
Disliked: Nothing it was great, I just struggled a bit with my case on the stairs
