Liked: Food and drink was excellent and reasonably priced.
Disliked: Bedroom was hot with only an open window to try and cool down. Shower pressure good until someone somewhere turned on a tap.

Liked: The property was well maintained and in a perfect location. We were kindly upgraded and we could not be more grateful. All of the staff were lovely especially Richard and the lovely lady behind the bar who name I didn’t grab.

Liked: Excellent all round,staff excellent for superb,huge portions, just wish they offered half portions, us oldies don’t do the meal or chef justice by leaving food!

Disliked: Room 6 was very hot. Floor was hot. Above the kitchen, would be a good room to be in during winter but not summer. There was a fan which circulated the air but didn’t help cool the room

Liked: Staff members were helpful, welcoming, practical and on the ball.Peaceful area and hotel.Food excellent.Good choice in the bar.Location superb for North Lakes and Penrith, 5 minutes off the M6 junction 40.
Disliked: A slightly bigger room would have helped.Felt a bit cramped and limited manoeuvre ability in our room.
