Liked: Clean and the location.
Disliked: They took a deposit 300 £ .When I checked out told me to take 110£ !!!But I refused and they said ok.You should treat guests honestly.

I would stay there again...
Disliked: 1. Servers are not allowed tips. Why? 2. The food was mostly good but some of my fruits were a little old, and i got sick because they messed up a latte i ordered (they used cow milk instead of plant milk), i got room service for things i didn't order, and this is the big one: i was sleeping and my doorbell rang many times and impatiently. As I was about to get up, the person actually opened my door and came into my room and announced they were room service. They said "here is the water you ordered". I did not order any water and oh my God they came into my room without me opening the door. I was halfway into putting my slippers on. Another order also came to my room without me requesting it.3. No couches or seats in the hallways. 4. I stayed in four star hotels in gothenburg that were even nicer but fourth of the price. It should have been better.

It was ok.
Liked: The location is the main thing in this hotel. The people who did their best were the cleaning ladies and the porters.
Disliked: There were couple of things that put me down as a regular booking.com user: 1. we booked 2rooms and I realised that I overbooked one room one night longer than necessary. So, from the moment we arrived I asked the staff at the entrance to cancel the night for 1 room only. Do you think it happened and we were refunded? No. Not at all!!! I kept checking every single day with various staff members at the reception area and kept being reassured that its going to happen but at the end was sent to booking.com staff to sort it out when it was too late and various people at booking.com at the same time were telling me that its not their fault but Botree hotel management. They basically kept blaming each other for days. In the meantime we were not refunded and the whole stay left us unwilling to stay at this hotel again unfortunately. Or book in the future through this platform either which is a big disappointment because i was so loyal to booking.com for years and years. But voila! That’s how you loose your customers)2. By the way beware if you are 10min late to the breakfast no one will feed you) which is ok for us because we lived in London for more than 20years but if you are new to the town-no one will make an exception for you or the kids.3. also, be prepared that there might be no storage in the rooms in the hotel and you and your family will live out of your open suitcase for days.

Liked: Our stay at The BoTree was fantastic. Huge shoutout to the amazing team for upgrading our suite, it made the experience extra special. The room was impeccable, beautifully designed, and packed with thoughtful details. We especially loved the sleek shower and the central controls for lighting and curtains, which made everything feel seamless and luxurious. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city but still peaceful.
Disliked: Honestly, not much to critique. If anything, a bit more storage space would be helpful for longer stays.
