Liked: Location of hotel was so central.
Disliked: Room was too warm for me but there was a fan in the room so not a problem.

Liked: I have been coming to Southport 25yrs. For various reasons and have stayed in the Bold many times. When I had my caravan at Riverside in Banks I ate at least once in the Bold everyday
Disliked: I like a breakfast pint when I am not working. Ended up in Spoons every morning

Great hotel

Liked: Great hotel, right in the centre of everything.Got given a free room upgrade which was lovely.
Disliked: Car park really small, so parked outside on seabank Rd for the 2 nights (sat & sun). All day parking £8.30. Parking only needs to be paid until 6pm at night after that it's free till 8am or 11am on Sundays. Download the app ringgo it makes it so much easier.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel.

Liked: Fantastic location in the heart of Southport. Lots of great restaurants, shops and bars to explore on the doorstep. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely bar area and restaurant. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Room was clean and well decorated. Huge comfortable bed.
Disliked: The shower in the room wasn't great, but apart from that our stay was lovely.

Liked: the bold is lovely the gentleman at reception was brilliant thank you
Disliked: the waitress brought over our bill and was rude didn't give us a chance to look at the bill and they over charged us no chips came with one meal and the drinks very expensive

Gorgeous hotel, fabulous staff, yummy...

Liked: Gorgeous hotel, fantastic staff - from the bar staff, breakfast staff (Tommy was just lovely and very helpful, breakfast was delicious) to the Sunday carvery ladies - the restaurant carvery manager was just so friendly and made us feel really welcome. We booked out with ease, had a walk along the beach and came back for the delightful Sunday lunch - big wow! The meat melted in your mouth and I had all of my 5aday in the vegetable choice - one not to miss! Room was lovely too, nicely decorated and super clean.
Disliked: Our room (10) was above the function room - we had upgraded and can’t fault the room but there was a wedding party on the Fri eve and the music went on until 1am which wasn’t so good. Thankfully only one night of late, very very loud music so bearable but not great. The Saturday music stopped at 11 which we found perfectly acceptable.The bathroom is fabulous but the shower was very weak, maybe one to check out?
