Overpriced for the state of...

Disliked: The outside is terrible -it looks derelict -dirty and half the sign missing -drove straight past it twice!!

Liked: Could not fault this hotel at all. Extremely friendly staff, great location and excellent breakfast. Will definitely be returning.

Bad
Liked: The room and staff were fine.
Disliked: There was very loud music in a Bar underneath my room which only stopped at 4.50 am. I would not book any room on a Friday or Saturday at the front of the Hotel.

Hotel tired and basic, though...
Liked: Archana the receptionist, host, waitress and problem solver was first class. This lady is a credit to the hotel and tried her best to ensure a nice stay was afforded. Sociable and friendly.
Disliked: Parking was limited and in fairness we were warned. However it did result in one guest being hemmed in due to some discourteous parking by another guest. Breakfast was appalling. We were informed that the 'new' chef couldn't do poached or scrambled eggs. Also it transpired that the couldn't do fried eggs either, or mushrooms or hot beans or bacon! This resulted in my family heading to a cafe around the corner for breakfast. Basic cereal was available along with toast and juice. Whoever was responsible for recruiting this chef obviously didn't check on his abilities!
