Located just 656 feet from Tottenham Court Road station and a short walk from Covent Garden, Soho, and Oxford Street, you're never far from the music—and the afterparty.

Why Concert-goers love it

From The Bloomsbury, you can walk to many of London's iconic concert venues and nightlife spots. With flexible check-in from 14:00 and a generous check-out time of 12:00, you can sleep in after a late show without worry. Despite the buzzing surroundings, the rooms are quiet and restful—perfect for recharging post-performance.

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Bloomsbury Club Bar & Dining Room and Dalloway Lounge offer elegant dining from early morning through late evening. Dalloway Terrace, with its retractable roof and secluded charm, is open daily from 07:00—ideal for a relaxed breakfast after a late night. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the dining options are varied and high quality, and plenty of restaurants and eateries are just a short walk away.

Nightlife Options

Whether you're in the mood for cocktails before the concert or a nightcap after the encore, the hotel's Bloomsbury Club Bar serves up expertly mixed drinks in a moody, vintage-inspired setting. Plus, the surrounding neighborhoods of Soho and Covent Garden are packed with bars, clubs, and live music venues to keep the night going.

What People Say

Guests rave about the location, calling it "unbeatable" for theatre and nightlife. Many praise the stylish interiors and comfortable rooms, as well as the "impeccable" service from staff. The Dalloway Terrace is a particular favorite for its ambience and brunch offerings.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the rooms can be a bit compact, especially for those with lots of luggage. And while the hotel isn’t the cheapest option in the area, most feel the location and luxury touches justify the price.

The Bottom Line

With its unbeatable location, stylish rooms, and relaxed vibe, The Bloomsbury Hotel is a top pick for concert-goers looking to stay in the heart of London’s cultural pulse.

Would absolutely return—this hotel is...

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The second room we received was beautifully designed—cozy, with a classic British charm complemented by tasteful Egyptian-inspired accents. It felt elegant and thoughtfully curated. The Coral Room was a true highlight—stunning interiors, a lovely atmosphere, and a fantastic breakfast. We especially enjoyed sitting there with a cup of tea and soaking in the ambiance. Their selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails was creative and fun.We also had a wonderful dinner at Dalloway Terrace. The food was delicious, and our waitress went above and beyond to make the evening special—attentive, kind, and truly memorable service. The downstairs bar, The Bloomsbury Club Bar, was another favorite. Alex the bartender was amazing—friendly and skilled, crafting incredible cocktails with flair. Again, we appreciated the unique Egyptian theme woven into the drinks. The location was perfect—central, with the Tube and bus just steps away, and lots of restaurants and food halls nearby. Tucked behind a theater, the hotel felt like a hidden oasis. Climbing the front steps, it was as if we were entering a different world.
Disliked: If there's one area that could be improved, it’s the late-night room service—the menu was quite limited to snacks, and they were frequently out of the main dishes. It also would have been lovely to have a spa or sauna on-site, especially for a hotel of this caliber. That said, these were small details, and we still thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Very good

Liked: Very friendly staff membersCoral Room Bar
Disliked: A 5% discretionary accommodation service is added to the bill. You can ask for it to be removed, but it should not be added to the bill in the first place.Housekeeping came by at around 5 pm. Way too late.

Gorgeous hotel in great location

Liked: Great location close to museum. Stunning hotel interiors and bar area. Staff wereAll super helpful on our one night stay following a long haul flight. Was a great place to rest and explore in our short time in London.
Disliked: Small rooms (pretty standard in London though) so difficult if you have two suitcases so would probably get a larger room next time, otherwise couldn’t fault it!
