Amazing views of lake and...

Liked: The lakefront patio was amazing. I rented the room for that, and it did not disappoint. My friend and I sat on our patio and watched the moon and stars dance in the sky for a couple of hours. Then, I went to bed and kept the curtains partially open and watched the moon slowly lower on the horizon until it set. How amazing to be able to see the night’s ‘moon show’ while lying in my bed. It was a true experience.
Disliked: The hotel halls are simple, not posh, but just fine. I don’t think I would have liked the front side of the hotel as much, as it was the patios that made all the difference for me.I recommend paying extra for lakefront.We weren’t able to walk very far around the lake, but we did get to sit on the dock. Also we found an amazing nature trail not far down the road across the street that made up for not being able to walk around the lake very far.

Liked: Breakfast choices were varied muffins hot egg and sausage rolls, yogurt, cereal and pastries which was quite good. Coffee was good and juices. Eating in the breakfast overlooking the lake was enjoyable and relaxing.We both loved sitting out back on Adirondack chairs taking it all in .we had great weather.
Disliked: The bedding linen was stiff and scratchy. The pillows were uncomfortable and rough against my face. The toilet backed up in the morning and wouldn’t flush. No one was at front desk so I couldn’t report it. When I made the reservation. I was assuming all the rooms faced the lakeBased on the photos of the ad. But was sadly disappointed when I was told at the desk it would cost $50 more to get a lake view. I opted to keep the room we were given that faced the pking lot. I think this was a bit misleading…all.rooms were small and needed updating. The value wasn’t there. $50 extra was over priced.

Liked: Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The interactions with hotel a spa restaurant made me think of returning.
Disliked: Breakfast coffee was subpar, however I did find the 24 hour coffee machine that madape all the difference.
