Perfect for what I needed....

Liked: Since "lockdown" have changed to Continental breakfast only with everything available to help yourself at whatever time you choose.
Disliked: The only VERY TINY thing causing me a problem - arrived in the dark and difficulty picking out the B&B's name to locate in a very snowy street with no strong street lighting. Was expecting a prominent B&B sign. They have only just started taking winter bookings and I'm sure during daylight/summer evenings, would be distinguishable.

Liked: The rooms were very comfortable. Lesley and her husband were very accommodating and helpful, we felt at home.
Disliked: There was nothing wrong with the bed but as I suffer with a slight back problem I felt the bed was too soft for me.

Liked: super supportive service, e.g., no strict limit on leaving time( although we left not that late), great recommendations on food and places to visit nearby;and the room is very clean, tidy, and comfortable, especially the bedding. And I really like the story about the history of this lovely B&B - the host self-built many parts within this property, amazing! It also applied a lot of eco-friendly solutions for the energy use in this property.

Fantastic Find.

Liked: The Birdcage was a lovely weekend break, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Hosts were amazing with fantastic breakfast laid on plenty of choice and extras provided ie cheese, ham and boiled eggs if you would like.
Disliked: Nothing could not fault this lovely place, will definitely be going back. Owner's made us very welcome with access to intire lower floor.
