Need a refund/No A/C all...

Liked: An older Latino man who was working his butt off to compensate for everyone else not working when we had breakfas, he was awesome. The manager was rolling silverware while this other man did everything. David H I believe was his name, he was awesome. The man who worked his butt off in the restaurant was awesome.
Disliked: The air conditioning didn't work all night and we were so uncomfortable. The hotel said they would have refunded but we booked through here. I'm still waiting to hear back on a refund. When we had breakfast, the restaurant staff is terrible expect for one gentleman. The server walked right by us and never offered anything until she saw money on the table. She gave me coffee with no cream and saw me pouring from cereal carafe and walked right by me. I've worked in hotel restaurants I know all of the tricks people pull and they're taking advantage of that poor man in the breakfast area. The server and manager were terrible.

Superb

Liked: Very grand hotel in downtown LA. Very nice bar with great cocktails. Decent cafes and coffee shops nearby and a great Japanese restaurant (Mrs Fish) with a fantastic rooftop bar just around the corner. Large and comfortable rooms.
Disliked: The street noise was quite loud from 5am. A colleague had a room which didn't overlook the street and he said his room was quiet, so maybe ask for that. The breakfast was OK.

A reasonably priced grand old...

Liked: The Biltmore is pleasant and relaxed with a hint of having seen better days. The lobby, bar, and public areas are filled with ornate architectural details and emote a grandeur of a bygone area. The Bar served a signature drink - the Biltmore, which was excellent. The rooms were priced to be a good value given the location and grand style.
Disliked: While large, the room furniture was a bit worn, and strangely, the toilet had not been flushed, which was really gross. The room also had somewhat funky light switching.

An exceptional hotel.

Liked: A living piece of 100-year history — a true hotel-museum.Staying here feels like stepping into a different era, with an atmosphere that transports you to the past. The sense of grandeur and vintage luxury is remarkable. So many iconic movies have been filmed here, and you can feel that cinematic magic throughout the property. Everything was perfect.
Disliked: The only downside is the location. The streets immediately around the hotel, especially to the sides, require some caution — particularly at night, as there are quite a few homeless individuals in the area.
