Clean ,quiet and safe

Overpriced and in need of...

Liked: Location is all you are paying for with this hotel. Great location but that is it.
Disliked: Hotel is in need of major update. It is very old and extremely overpriced for what you get. Rooms are small (which is fine) but they are dark and dingy, old furnishings, bathrooms need updating, not enough plug sockets in the room, windows hard to open and close (and probably quite dangerous that they open the way they do). Rooms were very hot in the summer even with a fan provided. We didn't enjoy our stay at all.

Fantastic location and ideal for...

Liked: Location is excellent, close to train station and bus stop just around the corner. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Bathroom is a little tight, wooden steps coming out of the bathroom so be careful after having a shower as it can be slippery.

Nice place for a short...

Liked: Very good location of the hotel, Paddington station 2 minutes walk away, fastfood, sainsbury's,bakery close to the hotel The room is cleanThe hotel staff is really nice
Disliked: The only problem I had was the last day, the water pressure in the shower and sinkSuddenly low pressure or no water for 5/10 minutes

Warm Hospitality and Perfect Location

Liked: I stayed here for 8 days and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, Mrs. Litsa made me feel like home with her exceptional hospitality. She was always offering to make me coffee, giving me bottles of water, and even asking if I would like some of the food she had cooked. She surprised me with a completely free continental breakfast and regularly checked to make sure I was comfortable. I was delighted to receive a free upgrade from a single to a double room, which was super clean, comfortable, with excellent internet. Mohamed was equally friendly and polite, always ready to help. Both Mohamed and Mrs. Litsa assisted me with finding my way around the city and kindly stored my luggage for several extra hours after check-out. The location is excellent, super close to Paddington train station.

Very good

Ideal location but very budget...

Liked: Location is great, between Lancaster Gate tube station and Paddington Station
Disliked: We had three rooms all had issues. One room the shower door was hanging off and was difficult to move and it only had 1 working plug socket. Another room the window wouldn’t close and it was on the front by the main road. This ment it was noisy and difficult to keep bugs out of the room. And the third room another issue with the shower screen which actually came off every time it was used. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms were disappointing. We didn’t want to have to several flights of stairs for a little cup of tea. There are no safety measures on the windows which when there is a bed up against a window which opens up quite wide leading to a sheer drop isn’t ideal for a room with children staying in it.
