The Benson Portland Curio Collection by Hilton

Very disappointed, but it was partially my fault for not complaining and moving rooms.

Liked: The lobby was pretty and the underground tunnel from the parking lot was pretty neat even though it's closed at 7pm.
Disliked: Bed was hard; the room service paper on the bed still had information the person before us had written on it. The heater in the room did not work so the fan just pushed out cold air - wanted to complain but did not want to pack up and move rooms at 3am. The shower did not turn on all the way so the pressure sucked. And to top it off the view was an alley and another building - was disappointed as this was supposed to be a really nice hotel for the high price. Also we were never even given a passward to the wifi and never told about any accommodation they had.

Liked: Great location and service. Gorgeous building.
Disliked: Constant noise from outside. Kept TV on all night to cover it up.

Met expectations. Nothing went wrong....

Liked: Large size room. Great location. Accommodating staff. Comfortable and inviting entry room.
Disliked: I was on the eighth floor and had a view, but it was not a great view. But obviously there’s nothing you can do about that.

Would strongly recommend this hotel.

Liked: The breakfast, which was included in the price, was excellent. The service for breakfast exceeded expectations. All the staff were professional, friendly and provided exceptional service. I was treated to an introduction to the historical hallway photos by the engineering manager. Discovering and reviewing those photos was a highlight of my stay.
Disliked: Nothing.

Staff were very friendly.

Liked: Lobby area was good.
Disliked: Bathrooms need updating.

My stay was okie!

Liked: The room was good! Though I had paid for a corner room but I didnt get one.
Disliked: Hot water kettle and a small toothpaste etc would have been good in the toiletries!The breakfast details should be disclosed: That if breakfast is paid for and covered with room, but has a limit to a given price should be made clear.
