Very disappointed, but it was partially my fault for not complaining and moving rooms.

Liked: The lobby was pretty and the underground tunnel from the parking lot was pretty neat even though it's closed at 7pm.
Disliked: Bed was hard; the room service paper on the bed still had information the person before us had written on it. The heater in the room did not work so the fan just pushed out cold air - wanted to complain but did not want to pack up and move rooms at 3am. The shower did not turn on all the way so the pressure sucked. And to top it off the view was an alley and another building - was disappointed as this was supposed to be a really nice hotel for the high price. Also we were never even given a passward to the wifi and never told about any accommodation they had.

Liked: Great location and service. Gorgeous building.
Disliked: Constant noise from outside. Kept TV on all night to cover it up.

Convenient, Comfortable and Hassel Free

Liked: Convenient location for Downtown (although downtown itself isn't the nicest part of Portland). Clean and Quiet. Large comfortable bed. They were the only hotel we stayed with that replied to a question I had via Booking, and were happy for me to get mail sent to the hotel, which proved to be extremely useful and much appriciated.
Disliked: The nextdoor El Gaucho steakhouse has a Cigar lounge and as a result there was a slight smell of cigar in the reception. Breakfast was slightly disappointing and basic, there were much better option elsewhere in Portland

Disliked: The vallet parking is not as expected. The staff is not as attentive and helpful as supposed to be. They don't approch to assist with loading or unloading the bags. they do not approach the vehicle to take the keys.

Portland Hotel is Top Notch

Liked: Stunning historic building in central location with great staff, amazing lobby & opulent touches. Rooms were sizable & comfortable, bed was very comfortable. Had dinner at the on site restaurant, which was tasty and appropriately priced.
