Liked: Location, very caring staff, great restaurants and a very stylish bar. It has an understated elegance to it and the HeadPorter, Colin - is a gem who offers great advice and makes the place feel homely and welcoming.

Great location, but the front...
Liked: The location was great,
Disliked: I didn’t like the front desk experience. When I arrived, the room was already available, but they told me I had to pay £50 extra per day if I wanted to check in early. I refused, so they made me wait in the lobby for hours—even though it was the same room that was ready. I was exhausted and even fell asleep while waiting. At checkout, they also handed me a paper asking for an additional £100 as a service tip, which I refused and paid only £20, although even that wasn’t deserved. The stay itself was fine, but the reception was unprofessional and clearly tried to charge more for things that should have been included. Be cautious—don’t agree to pay more for what’s already part of your booking

Outstanding experience!
Liked: The staff could not have been more helpful and kind! I was working on a very important project and needed printing and shipping, etc. They did it all perfectly and with a great attitude. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly.
Disliked: Nothing.
