Liked: Another nice stay here to break journey from Suffolk to Scotland. Single room although small was very comfortable and nicely presented. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.
Disliked: There was no WiFi during my stay. While frustrating this actually caused problems as the train I had expected to catch to Glasgow was cancelled. The lack of WiFi made finding information and making alternative plans difficult

Excellent value, much better than...

Liked: The room was a great size, the bed was very comfy. We stayed previously in the courtyard area so we’re hesitant but this was excellent. A small fan was provided also which was helpful and the shower facilities were good. Nice size tv too.
Disliked: I’d prefer better coffee than Nescafé. The light shade was quite dusty.

Liked: Been multiple times, love it.Very good sound proofing, considering right above the bar & lounge.
Disliked: The fact it was on the first floor and at the far extremity.But it was in the original part of the old building so had some character to the room.

Disliked: Nothing I didn't like.
