The Beach Cottages

We enjoyed our stay at...

Liked: Great location, right on the beach! Vintage—feels like stepping back to the 70’s. The rooms have a small kitchenette with a coffee maker.
Disliked: Aesthetically a little tired. There is a restaurant/bar attached, so you might hear some noise late at night. No pool / hot tub.

Great location, shabby hotel.

Liked: The location is great. On the beach and walking distance to everything. The staff was fine. I have nothing else to recommend about the place.
Disliked: My room didn’t feel clean. The floor felt tacky. The bathroom wall had holes in it. The room very badly needs a deep cleaning. The bed was not comfortable. The interiors need updating.

Enjoyable close to the beach...

Liked: Close to the water
Disliked: It was a little noisy, but that’s to be expected when you come down for high school graduation

Great beach side reasonable hotel.

Liked: Great location, with view of beach from window. A place to sit outside. Close to restaurants and. Supermarket Well equipped room….mini frig, coffee maker, dishes. Secure attended parking lot.
Disliked: We were very happy with the property and would stay again.

Good

Liked: Had a top floor room which is important if you want a view and a room that gets lots of light and is not musty. Nothing fancy here but nice location right on the walkway that lines the beach with a grocery story and lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Superb

Great natural surroundings but noisy...

Liked: Very nice natural location: ocean, beach.... good public transportatipn
Disliked: Too many pubs/bars in the area that catered to noisy young people at the wee hours. Since our room did not have air conditions we sometimes had to chose between: open the balcony door to get fresh air or close the balcony to keep the outside noise out.

Disliked: words were misleading on the website, expected a cabin but got a normal motel room
