An enchanting Cotswold retreat in the picturesque town of Burford few could resist the rustic charm of this 16th century residence whether it is for a leisure break business trip or special occasion. The Bay Tree is steeped in history and awash with character from the foundations of its mellow stone walls - clad with pinkish-purple wisteria blooms - to its wooden beam rafters. Beautiful traditional inn in a...

Liked: Beautiful building and great location. Staff were very helpful
Disliked: Small thing, but room was quite light in the mornings.

Lovely short break away to...

Liked: The warm welcome, ease of parking, friendly staff
Disliked: The up and down, having to lug a suitcase upstairs whilst also holding doors.The four poster bed whilst novel, was challenging for my husband having had a hip replacement. Would have been best if we had been notified in advance.

Comfortable and enjoyable weekend break

Liked: Full of character , each room different. Lovely large comfortable bed and large bathroom with shower and bath.

Pleasant

Liked: Location is great, staff really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Beautiful building lots of history.
Disliked: Certain areas very tired....evening meal was very average drink prices very expensive.
