A near perfect stopover.

Liked: Very good continental breakast including the host’s ownExcellent honey. Really comfy, large family room - well ventilated with a very nice en suite shower.Safe overnight storage for our bikes was provided.Phil, our host, seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area’s history. The premises itself dated back to the 13th century and gad clearly been subject to several tasteful renovations.It was almost perfectly sited to break up our 80 mile round trip.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike really. The M4 was only about half a mile away - but that wd suit a lot of people and the sound if traffic cd be muffled by simply closing the windows.
