In the center of Uttoxeter this beautiful Georgian building was once the town's first bank and now offers free parking a bar and 17 individually decorated rooms with attached bathroom. Originally built in 1777 for Thomas Hart the Bank House Hotel has a great location right in the heart of Uttoxeter's town center. All that this charming Staffordshire market town has to offer is nearby and Uttoxeter Racecourse is within walking distance. Alton Towers is just a short drive away. The hotel maintains original features including a fine unsupported oak staircase. Bistro 1777 is a restaurant within the building housed in the original bank vault. Free private parking is available on site.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were very welcoming on arrival
Disliked: Room and hotel decor was tired. Room and bathroom was basic and the room window did not open. Overall, not comfortable or value for money

Short but pleasant

Liked: I was running a little late and reception were happy to stay on a little after 9pm to check me in.
Disliked: It was a little cramped in the room
