Liked: Handy location for easy access to lots of places to visit. Plenty of parking. Large comfortable, well equipped rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty homemade food.
Disliked: Nothing.

Rooms need a face-lift.

Liked: Suzanne was the perfect host. Welcoming and professional. Bar area clean and comfortable.Evening meal was tasty but plain.
Disliked: Room (Nidderdale) decent size and clean but furniture and (lack of fittings!) poor. One small picture and table tops stained.Bathroom didn't have a bathmat, but the shower was decent and roomy.Mattress a bit too soft for my taste.Worst thing was abject lack of breakfast choice. No fruit or yoghurt or porridge. Just a fry up. Very disappointing.
