Great value for money

Liked: Very welcoming. Nice bar meal. Hotel in need of a bit of TLC but my bed was super comfy and room clean.wIfi here an issue however which may not suit all. It was almost awkward as I had no cash on me and wifi wouldn't allow use of cards except spasmodically.
Disliked: Wifi

Short and sweet!

Liked: The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The room got very hot and the windows did not open. The fan in the bathroom also went very hot when turned on, the TV could’ve done with being straight ahead so you aren’t looking up and hurting your neck, however everything else was excellent.

Could be better

Liked: Pleasant stay, breakfast plentyfull. Evening meals are pricey and they could do with a better choice, only in my opinion. Rooms are extremely dated but clean which is the main thing and I had everything I needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable but squeaky with movement. The bathroom was clean but hot water when showering was luke warm. They have a beautiful big beer garden that gets the sunshine untill late evening. Your giving a keys to let yourself in if your going to be back after 10pm and I would definitely recommend locking your door when your in the accommodation, especially at night whilst sleeping. I thought someone had tried my door around 2.45am, slightly unnerved by this, I mentioned it to staff the next morning. TheCreaky flooring was also bothersome around that time of morning to. The building requires some attention internally.
