Very happy

Liked: Anna and Robert were kind and attentive. Anna offered to dry out our wet coats and shoes in the boiler room. We were walking the Offa's Dyke path and got drenched that day, so this was very helpful. She made sure that we were happy and comfortable. She brought us a small bottle of milk for our tea and coffee.

Liked: The room was adequate and comfortable and had an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning. The hosts were not able to serve porridge which we, as hikers, rely on to get us off on a good start.
Disliked: Not easily accessible by foot. So if you are doing the Offa’s Dyke the hosts will charge a taxi fee to be collected and dropped off. We were charged £25 from and to Bodfari.

Exceptional

Liked: The rooms are really lovely and very comfortable. The staff / owners could not have been nicer. Nice breakfast but fabulous coffee.
Disliked: The outside is looking tired / unloved but I think this is down to new the new owners settling.
