Okay

Liked: Bed and sheets were clean bathroom was clean
Disliked: room was very tired window blind was stained and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. I feel we got a bum deal on the room we ended up with and the trip from reception to the room was like en route to a cell lobby photo was of room ceiling which was desperately in need of a clean & paint job

Poor

Liked: Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The room was substandard and overpriced for what it was. It was in the basement, reached by a narrow and steep staircase.

Easy to locate. Friendly and...

Liked: Bed extremely comfy. Staff were helpful and friendly
Disliked: We were asked when we left the hotel to return keys to reception and then pick them up upon our return. I understand the idea behind it and it did not cause much of an inconvenience it just seemed a little odd. However, this could just be the norm in London that I was not aware of

convenient location - uncomfortable bed

Liked: location great for kings cross/islington area.
Disliked: the bed was very uncomfortable and had a creaky metal frame - i was awake from 4am. a very compact room with thin walls - i could hear the person in the next room talking on their phone and even turning over in their bed! overall my stay was poor value for money.

A truly disgraceful room not...

Disliked: On - line, the photos of the hotel looked ok . In reality my room was awful . Extremely basic, very poor condition. The bathroom didn't have a shower curtain and was in a poor state. I was travelling alone for business and felt very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave the next morning. There was nothing nice about this hotel apart from the entrance hall. I have 2 photos which clearly illustrate the poor state of the room. Be very very wary of booking this hotel it was daylight robbery and a disgrace. It was only because I was on my own and arrived late into London that I didn't try another Hotel.
