I was a bit wary after reading the reviews. The front desk staff was very friendly. I had driven for 5 hrs to make it to the venue that started at 2:30. Check in wasn't officially until 3 but she allowed me to go get ready when the room wasn't ready. My fiance smokes and there were smoking rooms available which is hard to find these days. The mattress was a bit springy but not uncomfortable to the point you couldn't rest. The best part was no bugs! The horrible reviews I don't understand at all; the pool was fine; the hottub was hot. If you're expecting a 5 star experience go to a 5 star hotel! I didn't eat but they had a waffle maker and batter dispenser, cereal coffee and juice. I did have some OJ and it was just fine. I'd stay again.

Passable

Go somewhere else. Not worth the money and aggravation. Breakfast was a joke
Liked: I liked the location and the fact that there was an indoor pool and hot tub.
Disliked: The staff was extremely rude, prices were way too high for the quality of room you get. Very run down and put back together poorly with duct tape. The carpet was wet in our first room and the linens had burn holes in them. Had to change rooms for the second night and the staff had us waiting in the lobby for almost 4 hours before we could check into our new room. The hotel was not busy at all and instead of having housekeeping take care of cleaning our room first so we could have been spared the inconvenience of having to sit in the lobby for hours upon hours also with no apology.

A good place to sleep. Don't touch anything and plug your nose.
Liked: They had an indoor pool and hot tub. The employees were very nice and there was a young man who cleaned all day long.
Disliked: I got the feeling that the owner didn't care about the facility but the employees did. Everyone we spoke to was very nice and worked really hard, but the overall condition of the hotel was not great. There were many bodily fluid stains on the pull out couch, but the front desk brought up a clean rollaway bed, so that was nice of them. The whole hotel smelled like pot and dust, including our room. There were miscellaneous chunks of something weird and yellow on several of our walls. We had 3 tiny pillows for 4 people and they claimed not to have any extra. (They found 1 and we bought our own.) We were really only in the room to sleep and it was what we could afford, but we most likely won't be back. Their breakfast was all cold, dry items. Cereal, oatmeal packets, toast, etc.

Liked: Location was easy, and a grocery store/gas and other food very close to the hotel. Walking distance which is great. The hotel was clean, pool and other amenities all in good working order. Didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel but it was perfect.
Disliked: The lobby and hallways smelled of smoke. Didnt bother us but those who may be sensitive to it may have some difficulties. Our room was clean of any smells thankfully.

It was ok for the price
Liked: The location was great. Staff was friendly. The pool was small but served its purpose for the kids.
Disliked: We had a ton of burn holes in our blankets. Our door didnt close all the way unless you pulled/pushed it and our phone cord was cut. There were also very limited towels and pillows.

Liked: The whirlpool tub in our room and the hot tub/pool combo.
Disliked: Cold continental breakfast. It was fine for me but my husband was looking for sausage. The only hot offerings included coffee and tea.
