Super 8 by Wyndham Lincoln West

I plan on attending many concerts in the future and would not consider this property again or recommend it to anyone else.

Liked: Relatively close to the venue.
Disliked: The front desk person checked me into a room that was out of service and I had to go back to the desk to get a new room. The first smell heading up the stairs was stale cigarette smoke and for a person with asthma this would have been a deal breaker if I had had time to find a different property before the concert. Finally, upon returning from the venue I just wanted a quick ice cream bar and gave up because the front desk person was so slow getting to me. The customer she was working with was also very frustrated with the amount of time it was taking to put 1 night's stay on a different credit card.

Room was dirty. There was a kleenex on the floor from the last person; the sheets didn't look clean at all; the bathroom was in desperate need of repairs, and the entire hotel smelled weird. I don't not recommend this hotel.

Disliked: Dirty room, unflushed urine in toilet, food in trash (eggs & other things), smell in room, curtains falling down.Had to change rooms after unpacking. Smell of smoke in staircase. Breakfast poor.

Disappointing

Liked: You could feel and hear people in hall and other rooms, and stairwell.It was clean, but muggy and sheets damp from muggy (I think they leave AC off when not booked)Smell was hard to get over. Breakfast was poor. Also, basically you felt like you were gonna catch a disease.
Disliked: Safety, see above. They did ok and kept clean, but still was grungy

For the price this place...

Liked: Everything works, Shower, door locks,faucets, etc. air conditioner (one of the quietest AC, I can recall in a motel room)
Disliked: The facility is older, so not as slick as a new facility, but the price more than compensated for the looks

Budget hotel, no frills. For...

Liked: Terrible breakfast, but for the price of the room, I'm not really complaining.
Disliked: I did a pre-check in online, which was very comprehensive. When I got to the hotel they had NO RECORD of the check in. Very annoying
