Super 8 by Wyndham Bloomington, Bloomington

When we arrived they didn't have the room that I had booked available. I had booked a King bed in a smoking room. Since they didn't have what I booked they offered me two queen beds and told me that when booking online that I'm not going to get what I thought I was booking - that it only meant that I would get what was available. So we took the two queen bed room and were fine with it. It was clean and updated and we were fine with that room. We weren't in there an hour and the front desk called to say that now they have the room I booked available. I told them we were comfortable where we were and it was fine - they then stated that the room we were in was having construction on the ceiling very early in the morning, so we grudgingly moved. The room we moved into was NOT clean - hadn't been updated since like 1912. The bathroom had smoke stains running down the walls from moisture and a huge burn hole in the mattress. We weren't happy. Not to mention that they had NO bottled water whatsoever in the building - not even in a vending machine. There were people "living in the office" - beds in there and all. Kids were at the front desk with the woman working. All in all we will NEVER stay at that Super 8 again. Very displeased with it all in all. On top of that we were at the hotel until 10:30 in the morning; the following day I didn't witness or hear construction on the room they moved us out of. Yuck. Never again!

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Cleanliness.

Liked: They were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean. And with all the problems we had they were on it right away. Thank you - it was a good stay.
Disliked: There was no elevator, so we had to carry our bags up the stairs. Thank God we were on the 2nd floor. Also, our room door key wouldn't work to unlock the door - we had to wait until we got back from the concert to get another key.

You get what pay for i guess. Wyndham hotels suck.

Liked: The only good thing about this place was that it was very cheap.
Disliked: This place was horrible to stay. The whole floor smelled of curry and smoke. People were living in some of the rooms next to me.There was garbage in the main hall way constantly though out my stay. The rooms was cleaned half assed. Mold in the bathroom as well. They never changed my towels or sheets even as specified that they do it every three days(I had to ask for my towels). As i was there for business. It ended a little earlier than my stay. I asked if i could get the money back for the remaining days that i wasnt going to stay and they refused. These people are scammers. Everyone should avoid this place.

Very good

Liked: Location for our trip was convenient & pricing was much better that the "major chains" which charge upwards of $---per night.
Disliked: Like most all of the "major Chains", a complimentary breakfast is available. Not so here as it was an extra cost.

Disliked: Room was in need of major repairs, tiles in bath loose on the floor, toilet wobbled. Shower curtain stained and dirty. Base moldings in room falling off. Window fogged over with some form of residue, half the electric plugs didn't work. Discolored ceiling (stains) .

What a dump wasn't worth saving 25$ at quality inn. When our health was put in jeopardy.

Disliked: Was suppose to have king size bed got a queen. Black Mold on bottom 10inches of shower curtain. Green like food all over the bathroom faucet. When tub spout dieverter for shower is pulled water sprayed out the back of the spout against the shower wall spraying everywhere and probably Mold in the wall.
