Liked: Friendly staff that explained things at check-in and seemed to genuinely care.Location is very good, just around the corner from Paddington station and walking distance from prominent downtown locations.Room is surprisingly functional for being so tiny, and felt clean.Offered some cheap snacks and free beverages in the lobby, and complimentary breakfast that was alright.
Disliked: This is trying to be good value for money, but for the size and quality of room it's also far from cheap. It's very small, which is fine, but also feels budget in other regards. I can't say it gave me the rest I'd expect as a minimum, no matter the price.All furniture but the bed is made from metal, giving a cold "public restroom" feel that someone comes in to spray down every now and then.It's quite clean and somewhat modern, but stinks of disinfectant and has a very cold feel to it. The room had 2 single spotlights as the only sources of lighting, making it even colder. The room door seems like a regular indoor one. Every time someone walked past outside I felt as if they were about to enter my room. Being on ground floor this was frequent. Noises from the road were prominent too.The bathroom door was seriously water damaged, and some of the wallpaper had started to peel back from moisture.Ultimately I slept quite poorly. Can't pinpoint why. Too short bed, noise levels, general comfort.Finally, to give you a feel for the size:- When sitting on the toilet you had to have the bathroom door open- I had to stand sideways in the rectangular shower space- The bed seemed to be only 190cm, shorter than me

Liked: Great location and fantastic reception staff and housekeeping. Really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The room was similar to a metal cabin with a portaloo for a bathroom. The room was over powered by the smell of portaloo detergent and we had to fully open the window to try and clear the smell. Had we been staying more than one night I would have asked to move rooms.

Liked: The location is brilliant, 2 minutes from Paddington Satiation. The area is nice, feels very safe and friendly. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good and the air conditioning was an absolutely life saver during the heat wave. This is not a luxury hotel, the rooms are small. But for the price and location, it is excellent.

Liked: Location is great, almost next to Hyde Park in case you want to do a nice walk, but also next to Paddington station if you need to be somewhere else in London.I reserved a single room. Although i was given the option to upgrade to a regular room for a fee, i did not want to pay extra so stayed in the single room. If you are on your own and only need to room for the night, it's sufficient. Small, espcially the bathroom, which was maybe 2m*1M, including sink, toilet and shower..Breakfast was ok, nothing fance
Disliked: The bathroom is really small. Even if you are on your own, it is really, really small...Since i was only there for one night, i think the overall experience would be more positive when the upgrade would be free.A sign at breakfast stated that you could have your eggs anyway you wanted, but when asked this was not the case.
