Liked: This place was just outstanding from the minute we arrived till we left. The cleanliness and comfort of the room . amazing. And the restaurant was amazing service and food was really nice .
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Would of liked to book spa facilities but at £29 a person and not exclusive use . Most hotels include or make a nominal charge . If was exclusive use can understand high charge

Liked: The location is gorgeous. The bed was amazing 10/10, so comfortable. Staff were super helpful.
Disliked: Went to get some water at 11pm from reception and later found out it was £6.80 for 750ml of water. If you don't want to drink the bathroom tap water, bring some with you, or it'll be extortionate for water. Other than that, great stay.

Liked: The walks around the area are perfect so many water falls and wildlife
Disliked: The mini fridge in the room didn’t work.

Good hotel. Brilliant spa

Liked: Lovely views, spacious enough to walk around, wildlife on the grounds. The spa although it costs £29 pp extra, was worth every penny. Spacious rooms with big TVs. The food was really good for the majority.
Disliked: Bed was extremely soft. My Mrs had a Caesar salad which was so acidic it burnt her tongue and mine when tasting. This was rectified in the bill but it did ruin the meal for us both. The service in the restaurant is almost non existent. We waited 35 minutes for a 2nd drink then gave up and left.

Liked: Location was lovely, rooms were beautiful but didn’t get the one I booked.
Disliked: Had to walk flights of stairs heavily pregnant after booking a ground floor room! Breakfast was awful, there was nothing on the menu being served., staff were too busy chatting to each other at times rather than inform you of what was happening with said breakfast.

Fabulous country hotel

Liked: Fabulous room in the manor house, absolutely huge with great facilities. One of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was wonderful - such a nice change these days to have it cooked fresh to order, rather than a self serve buffet that seems to have become the norm. Overall I could not fault this hotel.
Disliked: My only tiny niggle was the tea and coffee facilities were not properly stocked. No herbal tea, only one type of coffee with 2 capsules in the coffee machine and no instructions. Very limited amount of milk. But this is a tiny issue in what was an otherwise fabulous hotel room.
