Exceptional
Liked: Our breakfast was just beautiful- enhance not only by the quality food but also the memorable staff who almost flirted and teased each other involving us in their antics- The food of super quality, its presentation exquisite, its favour impeccable -topped off by a history of the ticket office and its original status! The decor, subtle and divine……It’s the little things embroidered in the vastness of this stunning tall and elegant room to make it feel intimate and special!

Liked: The breakfast service was dreadful . Missed orders , took ages to get served. 15/20 minutes

Disappointing
Liked: The bed was comfortable and good shower pressure.
Disliked: The executive club was not open as it was under renovation. The assistance with Eurostar that comes with booking a suite was not available and, with a broken arm, we needed it.The food in the Hansom restaurant was overpriced.Breakfast was limited even though it was supposed to be included. This hotel was the most expensive over a 4 month holiday and it was the most disappointing. The service provided did not reflect the price and the room wasn't that good either.

Liked: Location, comfort of the room
Disliked: Check in was really slow , only 1person was available to check people in. The acces to the spa having to walk through reception. Broken hair dryer which took 15 minutes to replace

It served its purpose, enjoyed...
Liked: Very good but usually have porridge as a cereal followed by cooked. Porridge was classified as hot dish rather than a cereal so bb it was either or.
Disliked: Enjoyed the hotel but checking in took ages because our booking through booking.com was not on the system.There was only a shower - no bath! For medical reasons I am advised to bath - not shower - very disappointing!We had no kettle.(rectified after we complained)

Disappointing re price and expectation....
Liked: Location is fantastic
Disliked: Underwhelming.Run down, signs peeling off walls, numbers missing from doors. Lacks the grandure you would expect.35 minute wait to check in. Four desks one open. Staff chatting.Breakfast took 45 mins. Were seated in a much less grand space than advertised. Came in odd orders. Was told there would be a delay as they had seated people in the “nicer area”View was a brick wall a foot from the window.
