Fabulous building and setting, excellent...

Liked: The staff are highly trained, polite and very helpful. Fantastic building and architecture and lots of historical interest. Afternoon tea session was fantastic.
Disliked: Our room although a reasonable size, was a little underwhelming for what is costs, in particular the small pillar box unopenable window was more akin to a room in a Travelodge, which did take the polish off of our stay.

Iconic location and breakfast; interiors...

Liked: •The iconic St. Pancras International building—spectacular exterior and sense of arrival.•Excellent breakfast.•Cozy bar for evening drinks.•We arrived around 10:00 and were offered a room immediately—big plus.
Disliked: •Room and corridor interiors feel tired and below a true 5-star standard.•Housekeeping inconsistencies: a plastic film on the bathroom floor was there on arrival and remained throughout the stay; we also found a Patagonia T-shirt left by previous guests.•Paid ~€500/night via Booking.com, but Marriott Bonvoy points/nights weren’t credited because it was a third-party reservation.

Loved it

Liked: I booked this for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and they loved it! They were upgraded and had the best time.
Disliked: I met them for afternoon tea but it was a very hot day and even though they had 4 big fans in each corner of the room, but it didn’t help with us sitting in the middle of the edge so no fans were on us. Which made the celebration a bit miserable as we were all too hot and sweaty.

Blown away by location beauty...

Liked: Amazing - everything you expect from a 5* hotel and at this price point.
Disliked: The lifts were limited and slow and shared a walkway with the kitchen so was a little awkward / not as pleasant as the rest of the hotel.
