Should not have been Taj’ed...

Liked: The staff were great at the reception Location was good
Disliked: Not good for the amount of money we paidBreakfast was not good .. food didn’t seem very fresh. Only 1 lift working so had to wait along time and ended up just walking up and down the stairs No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom TV didn’t work in room and was told no TV’s were working in hotel due to an upgrade .. didn’t make sense ?? Could hear the tube underneath our room all nightPlace seemed abit run down. Not like previous Taj hotels I’ve stayed at

Disliked: During whole length of the stay the satellite TV in the room did not work and despite the staff efforts Was without TV for the whole stay !

Liked: My friend and I stayed here for one night as we were running in the London Landmarks half marathon. We wanted somewhere close to the start/finish line, this hotel suited us perfectly, very close to a couple of tube stations and easy walking to lots of main attractions. The staff were very accommodating, as we wanted to leave our bags on the day of check out and collect them after the race, this was no problem, they let us use the spa facilities to shower and change too even after we had checked out, which was a lovely bonus.The rooms are very comfortable, lovely beds, shower etc. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We had a great stay, and would not hesitate to book again.

Disappointing and expensive.

Liked: Location only.
Disliked: We spent a great deal of time waiting — for elevators and a table in the breakfast room. Kept wondering why such a large hotel could not fix such basic bottlenecks. Was also disappointed by response of front desk staff to our room not being serviced. “We’ll get right to it,” we were told; but, when we came back from dinner two hours later, nothing had been done. “Are you sure you didn’t leave the Do Not Disturb sign on the door rather than the Service the Room one?” we were asked,

Restful, luxurious, safe stay in...

Liked: The entrance was glorious. The scents were so inviting. The staff was incredible. The location was perfect-walking distance to many important attractions. Very safe and luxurious. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The only minor item was that at night - where our room was located - we heard the tube passing.
