St Giles London - A St Giles Hotel

Great place to stay for a night; staff polite; great location.

Liked: Bar open 24 hrs and restaurant. Staff polite and helpful.
Disliked: Food on arrival - fish and chips in up stairs restaurant over cooked.

Liked: Excellent location. Concierge staff were extremely helpful. Room was basic but spotless and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Good Central Hotel

Liked: The hotel is very centrally located. The breakfast is good.
Disliked: The A.C. was old and not silent especially during the night, but worked good.

Liked: The reception was very inviting, friendly staff, clean and free left luggage service, EXCELLENT location
Disliked: The rooms that havent been refurbished yet are a little tired.

Disliked: We had room 587... The shower wasn't even hot enough, shower curtain wasn't long enough so got the bathroom floor soaked, too dark so couldn't see much when showering and now shelving to put anything

Liked: Great location, easy to get to everything.
Disliked: Our original rooms air conditioning stunk to the point we were unable to stay in the room, they did however move us to a much larger nicer room which was great. The elevators in the property are old and slow, you are constantly waiting for the elevator and there is too many rooms in the hotel to accommodate the elevators. Allow an extra 5-10 minutes every time you leave your room as they stop on almost every level.

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent, just as advertised, right in the heart of West End.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the facilities and service were deeply disappointing. I used their laundry service and specifically requested a 'separate wash', yet all my clothes came back dyed blue. When I raised the issue, customer service refused to take any responsibility. The Wifi was equally frustrating, so unreliable that I had to rely on my own mobile data every day.

Liked: The reception was nice. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of everything. We were very pleased with this.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the rooms are small and not very practical. We had a problem with the toilet. Very little water was coming out of the flush valve, which we think is a problem.
