Excellent as usual.

Liked: The breakfast was great and the waitress excellent, going out of her way to accommodate our request. The receptionist very helpful as always.
Disliked: The bar staff, the evening before, not quite so attentive, but the young waiter was helpful.

Liked: The hotel had great ambiance, the ladies at the bar and waitresses were friendly.The dinner was excellent.
Disliked: The front desk staff were cold and clinical as was the head waiter.We had made our dinner reservation weeks ago and felt unwelcome when we were bundled into the side room, or the kids room as we called it, when there were adequate tables for two in the main dining area.The bedroom a little small for guests with suitcases.

Disliked: Bedding wasn’t the cleanest neither was the replacement that I had to change

Liked: Excellent location. Comfortable beds and rooms. Lovely helpful staff.
Disliked: Toast horrible Hovis. Bath leaked but that’s an irrelevant incident.

Very good. Loads of food...

Liked: Superb room apart from roller blind in bathroom non-functional. Left hand mirror light in bathroom bulb gone - reported.No where in the shower to put shower gel or shampoo - no shelf or cubby hole!No where to put a wash bag.Excellent hot drink sachets, hairdryer etc. Comfy bed and pillows. Fresh towels both days, didn't expect this as we only stayed 2 nights.
Disliked: No allergic reactions were asked.Having asked in the restaurant what the seasonal veg were with the chicken and told parsnip, carrot and broccoli and then to fin it was bedded on red cabbage - which my wife is allergic to, it had to go back and a new one prepared. Meanwhile myself and family had finished ours before my wife's arrived.Red cabbage prevented her from having her preferred dish, the duck!Food very good though and very well presented.
