Relaxing Short Stay

Liked: This was our second visit to St Elizabeth's House and we had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel is located in a pretty setting in Plympton St Maurice, which is a lovely small village. The hotel is nicely decorated and we particularly like the bar area which is perfect for pre-dinner drink. Dinner was excellent with a good choice on the menu. We had a spacious room which had everything you need for a short stay. The team looked after us well and we will definitely visit again.
Disliked: I found the bed a little soft but understand this is a personal preference and you cannot please everyone. It would be great to upgrade a couple of the power outlet sockets to include a USB charge point.

Good

Liked: Location, grounds were beautiful and the food was fantastic..
Disliked: Certain areas inc the bedroom needed clearing cobwebs.

Excellent as usual.

Liked: The breakfast was great and the waitress excellent, going out of her way to accommodate our request. The receptionist very helpful as always.
Disliked: The bar staff, the evening before, not quite so attentive, but the young waiter was helpful.

Liked: The hotel had great ambiance, the ladies at the bar and waitresses were friendly.The dinner was excellent.
Disliked: The front desk staff were cold and clinical as was the head waiter.We had made our dinner reservation weeks ago and felt unwelcome when we were bundled into the side room, or the kids room as we called it, when there were adequate tables for two in the main dining area.The bedroom a little small for guests with suitcases.

Liked: The both breakfast staff and the young gentleman that assisted me in the evening were very professional Good breakfast
Disliked: Bedding wasn’t the cleanest neither was the replacement that I had to change

Disliked: Room too hot and right on road so noisy
