I didn’t stay. My money...

Disliked: They were deceptive and fraudulent. During booking, I entered an information of one adult and a child of 5. It was reserved and payment was made. I never bothered to check until the time to check in. The guy at the reception then said that a child cannot stay in adults rooms which is correct and which they would have stated at the point of booking since they know fully the nature of their accommodation. As I couldn’t stay without my boy, the money I paid was not refunded.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and even looked after our bags for free once we had checked out
Disliked: The bed was really uncomfortable. There was huge body indent in my mattress from past users. Extremely hot in the room in the peak of summer. Not to be dramatic but the heat in the third bunk up was unbearable and I did not sleep at all as I felt like I was suffocating in the humidity and with the lack of air-flow, had to leave the room and sit outside. No air-conditioning or fans in the rooms, only a tiny window that opened a smidge which was not enough. Personal light didn’t work in my bed. Rickety bed frames, felt every movement of the people below. Not much social activities promoted by hostel and the common room set-up didn’t really inspire socialisation.
