SpringHill Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids North

Nobody told us when making the reservations that the hotel was under construction. My wife and I are both in our 60's. She has had three knee surgeries and a replacement. I have stage 4 kidney cancer. We were told that our room was on the third floor and that the elevator was inoperable. People should be made aware of problems when making reservations!

Liked: Breakfast was really good. Clean room.
Disliked: Yes, room heater was very loud and gurgled all night! Lack of elevator kept us from using the pool.

Great, affordable stay!

Liked: Large rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast food was exceptional. Overall very impressed with the facility, would definitely stay there again. I traveled with the pet and the large room size definitely accommodated their space needs.

Liked: Breakfast was good, location was convenient, staff was friendly, common areas and room was very clean and well maintained.
Disliked: Made reservation through booking.com, the front desk associate couldn't find my reservation, once I showed her my emails, she looked more into it and found that booking.com had my first and last names switched. Pool was very cold.

Liked: Great location, well maintained room and facilities, very friendly and accommodating staff, and value for money stay!
Disliked: The coffee could be better :) but overall, the breakfast is sufficient!
