SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh North Shore

Very helpful and professional staff.

Liked: Layout.

One thing that was not made clear is that you have to pay for parking - $25.00 a day.

Liked: Great beds; clean room.
Disliked: Pay for parking.

Liked: Breakfast Buffet.
Disliked: The room was dirty. Bathroom had not been cleaned; stains on carpet; no trash bags in trashcans. We had stayed here to use the shuttle to our concert and our destination was 3.2 miles, but they said their shuttle only went 3 miles. We then had to drive. Very disappointed.

Location was superb for Stage AE. Walking distance to a lot of different attractions/shops and beautiful scenery.

Liked: Room setup; front desk; breakfast; comfort of bed.

Disliked: It's not up to the standards of the other Springhill suites I've stayed at. Room was not very clean, front desk staff was rude, and have to pay an additional fee to park your car.

Liked: Proximity to downtown easy walking
Disliked: Not maintained well. Hallway lights strobed, tile coming off in bathroom, no way to plug tub for a bath, conditioner empty, ceiling in bathroom needs repair, no coffee at buffet…at least it was gone when we got there, hotel store not stocked well, dirty couch. Not Marriott standard.

Superb

Liked: Rooms were well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast selection was basic, but the quality of the food was good overall. The attached SoHo Restaurant was quite good - great service, varied menu, and great service.
