Just basic experience

Liked: The personnel is great. All the people I have interacted with were supportive and tried to find a solution. I asked to change the room as I have a particular condition and they were great in understanding and helping. And of course, the location is great as you are close to a lot of landmarks.
Disliked: The room is quite small with a very bad layout. The noise from the street was almost making the full stay uncomfortable. Without white noise, I could not sleep; it was like no window was closed. Too much plastic is used in the breakfast area; and very poor quality food.

Recommended stay in NYC

Liked: Really great location. Comfortable rooms and beds. Easy check in and friendly staff. Would recommend. Quiet spot. Good selection for breakfast, it can get busy, but quickly replenished and could always find a table.
Disliked: Our bathroom leaked liquid onto the carpet, saturating it, we asked for it to be looked into but it never was during our stay, which was disappointing and could cause damage to the carpet and flooring.

Liked: Room was spacious, staff friendly and efficient, location as expected for close to station.
Disliked: Breakfast is a madhouse -- we understand it's a busy place -- maybe simplify and improve offerings. Don't charge for water that is already in the room.

Liked: Exceptional staff! All the people we met - front desk, cleaners, breakfast room, door staff - were unfailingly friendly and welcoming, the level of service really was noticeable.Clean, quiet and comfortable room, more spacious than I'd expected given the reputation of Manhattan hotel rooms. All facilities in room to make stay easier (iron, fridge, coffee maker, even a microwave!). And a view! Thanks for the 12th floor room!Breakfast buffet can get busy but always found q place to sit and a lot of variety to make a great start to the day. Location absolutely perfect. On foot it was 5 mins to MSG and 34th Street subway (connections to everywhere), 12-15 mins to Edge and High Line, 15-18 mins to Times Square.
Disliked: All good for us, we'd certainly come back

Cozy comfortable bed in a...

Liked: Staff was efficient if a bit robotic and by-the-book. Only the guy handling bags seemed friendly and human. At least he looked you in the face and smiled.
Disliked: Our room was much too small for two people. The lighting was absurdly dim. We faced the street on one side and the inner “courtyard” on two other sides. Had to open all the blinds to get enough light in to see anything. Be warned that the floor plan of corner rooms like ours is very odd. There are other room with similar very strange configurations. Only standard rectangular rooms are off the main hallways. Any other room, especially the corners and around the elevators, will have odd sized walls and wasted square footage in the zig zag entryways.
