SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boston Andover

We booked this one specifically because of the pool. Pictures were way out of proportion; the pool is tiny and was FULL of kids screaming and splashing and jumping in. They also were playing in the hot tub without parents and made it impossible for our family to use it. When we came back later that evening the pool was closed. The staff person lied as to why. We found out minutes later - she offered others use of one of your other facility pools but had not offered us that choice. It was -10 that night, brutally cold, but we still jumped back in our car to go use the courtyard pool which again had way too many people. So we drove back. Halls and elevators dirty. And the worse was breakfast was a nightmare - you really need to put food in a more open area. There were way too many people trying to get in and out of an 8x10 room; kids were pushing; kids screaming, crying and lines of people trying to use the waffle machine. It was horrible, I didn't get anything. I tried. But. The problem could have been solved if people were not entering and exiting a closed off area that was too small and not enough equipment. Waffle toaster. Juice machine. Just couldn't get beat them and we were on time restraints. Maybe even have people sit at their table and wait for a ticket or something so that the moms are not dragging their 8 kids through the breakfast line and arguing with them and using everything. Some kind of order is necessary. Other hotels have you sit. Someone comes over to ask you if you want coffee or juice. Get it and then you can get your food in an orderly manner. Paid way too much for this room when I had a wide variety to chose from and I chose you. There were many as nice for less $$.

Nice staff, but property comes...

Liked: The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: At 2am, there was a loud disturbance with a multiple people staying on my floor. It was clear there was some type of argument with threats of police and someone shouting multiple expletives. it was scary and sounded like it was right outside my room. I asked the next morning what had happened, but there was never any outreach from management to provide assurances that all was okay.In addition, there was no in-room safe for me to place my valuables - I think that is just standard in this day and age. I had to opt for no housekeeping during my stay as the front desk didn't have a safe to store a laptop. Also, there was no body lotion in the in-room amenities set. I asked for a non-caffeinated tea option - none was available. I found the items offered for breakfast were not very healthy - I went elsewhere. Be advised that there are no options at this exit off of the 93....I had to travel 15-20 minutes to find other food options.

Disliked: Not the property but you, booking.com. You never forwarded my request for no feathers in the room. Don’t ask if you’re not going to share.
