Spark by Hilton Wilkes Barre

The do not clean rooms or make beds daily. The carpets are filthy and mouldy. We had two rooms on the floor and both were truly nasty.

Liked: The staff were friendly.
Disliked: The room was filthy. It had clearly been flooded recently. It was mouldy and disgusting.

Liked: Newness. Pool and hot tub. Free breakfast. TV.
Disliked: Back side room could hear highway traffic during the night. No heat in bathroom. Pool towels too small.

Liked: The hotel felt new and clean. I liked the bench window seat in the room.
Disliked: Our room (322) didn't have cold water in the bathroom sink.

Liked: Rooms were clean, staff was very nice, breakfast good enough
Disliked: Set the AC as low as it could go but never really felt to really feel like the temp we wanted. Still felt warm throughout the night.

Clean, comfortable, affordable.

Liked: I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This was one of the nicest hotels and so far, an absolute favorite. I was very impressed. We'll definitely be coming back.

Bad

Liked: Nothing, I got there late because I was in an accident mind you it was 3:30am. The room next door kept complaining about the tv noise and about me being on the phone. I paid like they did and then the attendant came and knocked on the door. It was awful.
