The place is excellent but...
Liked: Amazing facility and delecious dining
Disliked: Delay in check in for several hours.

I had a wonderful experience...
Liked: The hotel is beautifully designed. The whole vibe is modern and elegant. Located in a walkable neighborhood. I felt safe. I can’t wait to go back.
Disliked: Nothing bad to say. Maybe a little pricey, but it is Chicago.

I would stay there again.
Liked: I liked the atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant. The room was very nice. And I liked the neighborhood.
Disliked: Parking and the price was the only thing I didn't like.

I hope it gets consistently...
Liked: Staff was pleasant. Front desk staff appeared neat and well groomed. Nuances in and around room and waiting areas. I loved the wood decor, paintings and location.
Disliked: Coffee was horrible. Chicory flavored? and weak for sure...there goes the benefit of free morning coffee. Thank God for Philz on the corner from the hotel. Service in the restaurant was horrible for me. Tables that came after me were served first. Incorrect plate was brought to the table in front of mine by mistake, taken back into the kitchen ( I guess), then brought to me (same plate) and it was not what I ordered either. I left the two $10 vouchers and left without ever getting my meal. I was there 40 minutes including waiting to be seated. The place was half way empty. The food was just ok. Previous days lunch was good (Caesar Salad).The front desk staff talked amongst themselves a lot, not always acknowledging guest immediately. Where to go to be seated for restaurant changed daily. At times, no one answered the phone at Guest Services. WiFI stopped working. Workers had to come into my room twice to fix the air conditioner, when I very first arrived. I hadn't made the complaint that it was broken, hotel already knew. The survey that came from the hotel is inaccessible. "Clicking" on the access sentence doesn't work. I had to call twice to request toilet paper. After the room was cleaned and the third night. Housekeeping never responded to cleaning request on Sunday. A worker hurt his foot and they were short staff. WHAT?All this is true and I very seldom complain. I was not impressed and won't return. It's not worth the money and I have paid more for hotels that provided service comparable to the cost, so I know what to select. Thank you and I hope that it gets better.
