Good value hotel with friendly...

Liked: Stayed here several times. Good stop if travelling south or north on the border, either to stay or grab a bit of lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good value for money, and easy parking on site.
Disliked: Nothing wrong.

Disliked: This place was horrendous. Dirty, outdated, didn’t feel very safe where our lodge room was situated. A lot of loud people drinking and smoking right outside our room (make shift smoking area). Broken glass in the car park. Very expensive price for what you get just because it’s “Gretna Green” We left and stayed elsewhere.

Our stay was excellent and...

Liked: The food was fabulous, the staff for the most part were excellent. We ended up having to leave for the ferry extra early so missed the breakfast time, the hotel made us packed lunches to take with us instead.

Liked: Location was excellent the lodges were spacious and clean the shower was big and powerful the staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble
