The Spotlight on Sleepy Hollow Cabins and Hotel

Cozy Mountain Escape Just a Short Drive from the Action

Sleepy Hollow Cabins and Hotel offers a peaceful retreat in charming Crestline, CA, about 30 miles from the energy of Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead concert scenes. With a warm, rustic vibe and modern 4-star amenities, this mountain getaway is ideal for unwinding after a show. Think crackling pine trees, fresh air, and a hot tub under the stars—all just 18 miles from San Bernardino International Airport.

Why Concert-goers love it

Though tucked into the serene San Bernardino Mountains, Sleepy Hollow is close enough to major music venues to make it a smart pick for concert-goers who want to escape the post-show chaos. Late check-in at 3:00 PM and friendly 24-hour front desk service make late arrivals no problem. After a night of music, you’ll appreciate the quiet atmosphere, spa & wellness center, and hot tub for recovery. Free parking and reliable WiFi are a bonus for travelers.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split a spacious cabin-style room
  • Solo travelers attending a bucket-list show who want quiet after the crowd
  • Couples making a romantic concert weekend getaway
  • Fans needing recovery time in a relaxing, nature-filled setting
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t want to sacrifice comfort

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t feature a full restaurant, each room includes a microwave, and Crestline offers a variety of local eateries within walking distance. Perfect for grabbing a bite after a late show. Breakfast spots open late nearby make mornings easy, and you can always take advantage of 24/7 room service if you just want to chill.

Nightlife Options

Sleepy Hollow is about 30 minutes from Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead, where you’ll find bars, breweries, and live music venues. But if your vibe is more low-key post-show, the hotel’s peaceful setting and hot tub make for a relaxing wind-down. Don't expect a party scene here—this is more about serenity than shots.

What People Say

Guests love the cleanliness, friendly staff, and the tranquil mountain environment. Many mention how relaxing the hot tub is after a busy day, and couples rave about the cozy balcony rooms. The free parking and easy check-in process also earn solid praise.

Areas for Improvement

The vibe is definitely more “rustic retreat” than “urban luxury,” so don’t expect trendy design or nightlife on-site. Some guests note that cell service can be spotty in the area, but the free WiFi usually keeps things connected. And while the pool is seasonal, the hot tub more than makes up for it.

The Bottom Line

For music fans who want a peaceful, affordable basecamp with mountain charm and modern comfort, Sleepy Hollow Cabins and Hotel hits all the right notes.

Liked: Locating is beautiful and very convenient walking distance to stores.
Disliked: First off they gave me a room that was already occupied then the floor in the room were so filthy you couldn't walk around barefoot in the room and lastly the key card stopped working a day before my expected departure so I had went to the office to get it fixed no response finally 10 mins later some helped me.

Sleepy Hollow is a good...

Liked: Great proximity to local shops and attractions. Everything in Crestline was within walking distance. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Outdated fixtures and furniture. Floor was dirty and needed mopping. No screen on bathroom window.

Don’t stay here.

Liked: The location was excellent.
Disliked: The room was dirty, there were cobwebs in the corner, floor was filthy, walls are stained. 1/3 of the bathroom door frame was broken off. Shower curtain was stained with something black. There was black hair on the shower wall, (I’m blonde and my boyfriend has very long brown hair. Something on the bathroom ceiling was broken and hanging. There was about an inch of hand soap in the dispenser and the towels were so worn and stained that when I used the wash cloth in the shower my fingernails went through. The guy at the office answered the doorbell because you have to ring it to get someone to come to the door, was barefoot all three times I had occasion to go there, maybe it’s a Indian cultural thing (not Native American). Pool looked like a swamp. This place is supposedly under new management, apparently they don’t give a shit about how their rooms look! It’s sad because with a little maintenance and money for paint, new shower curtains and towels this could’ve a decent place to stay.

Disgusting!

Liked: The property looked nice from the outside. It was walking distance to the grocery store.
Disliked: The inside of the cabin was terribly disgusting. It had mold around the shower and under the kitchen sink. Insulation coming through the vents, trash under the bathroom sink from previous renters, etc. Management was terrible!! He yelled at my husband and I for bringing these issues to his attention.
