Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel

Wonderful hotel in a great location; great service and nice clean rooms!

Really happy with my stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable with simple but elegant decor. The location was very convenient, just one block from subway Q line, so easy access to uptown Manhattan (15 minute subway ride to Central Park and Times Square).

Liked: Friendly, accommodating staff. Good location. Clean and safe.

Not the Room I Paid...

Liked: The room was clean, and they served delicious iced coffee downstairs in the mornings
Disliked: What really bothered me is that the hotel blatantly lies about the room size — both in square meters and square feet. We booked a King Room, which was listed as 26 m² (280 ft²), and I specifically chose this option because of the room size. But the actual room we were given was tiny, around 15 m² (161 ft²) at most. There was literally no space to even open a suitcase properly.I measured the room myself with a tape measure and went to the front desk to request a room change, since it clearly did not match the size I had paid for. The staff just shrugged and claimed that all rooms are the same — which is simply not true. Rooms do vary in size, and we were clearly given one of the smallest ones, with a locked connecting door to the neighboring room.It’s honestly insulting when staff look you straight in the eye and lie to your face, or pretend to be clueless. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Liked: The room details need a better photo. It looked worse on the website. It was better seeing in person. The staff were nice, and the reception area is nice and somewhat elegant. Like always, many people are complaining about stuff in the front, but they seem to manage and troubleshoot well. I was happy with the cleaning staff. A coffee/tea machine in the room is nice to have. 2 cafes are very close by. The facility needs better photos/ information about the in-house restaurant.
Disliked: A lot of pot smokers in the area, but it's not the hotel's fault :)

Liked: Our stay at the Sheraton Tribeca was truly wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was perfectly quiet, and the sheets and towels were absolutely magnificent. Special mention must go to the cleanliness, everything was spotless at all times.The location couldn’t have been better, with a stunning view from our 17th-floor room overlooking Downtown NYC.What really made the difference, however, was the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff at the reception and concierge. A special word of praise goes to Helena, who went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue with our booking.A very special note of appreciation for the thoughtful surprise we found in our room: a box of sweets and fruit, along with a handwritten card congratulating us on our wedding anniversary and our daughter university graduation. This attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly sets the hotel apart.
